What is Digital Marketing?
1. Get digital marketing theory from the market
Digital Marketing have a lot of theory and somebody said that: “Doing marketing online by using the internet tools”, another said that: “Using internet for marketing”. I heard a lot of theory about digital marketing, this is the full practical theory:
“Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium.”-Wikipedia,
so that mean Digital marketing includes: internet marketing or online marketing and digital ads (advertising).
2. My view about theory
Have a lot of theory, this is a theory that follow me in 7 years. On this post, I will try to explain every tool for you on digital marketing and how do you use these tools.
As you see in my mind map above, online marketing, digital ads, website and social network create digital marketing and Digital marketing plan for one brand or product need these tools for build a system that can collect customer database. After you have the database, you will get the great tool for getting selling conversion.
Do you need all tool on a digital marketing plan? The answer is no. Depending on your goal, that you will choose the best tools for your plan.
I will start with the part 1 “website”:
You must remember my tip: “If you start a small business with low price product and service, you won’t need a website. You should start with small blog and social network like Facebook…”. Low price product and service is the price will be under 50 USD.
How to create a website and how to start with small blog that I will intro to you next post. At this post I will give you the website conditional: (these conditions only for business website, these is not right for personal website)
1. The name of your website, the goal of your website
2. Your logo. If you know your goal, you will get your logo idea easily
3. Your email and contact

3 . Tip for your business plan
Part 1: After do all thing above, you will think about SEO/SEM (search engine optimize/search engine marketing) that will boost your website on top in six months. For the display/drawn attention, you can ask for help on fiver or other platform to get the best design for your website (if you are designer, that’s great). I always focus on website content, I will ask my friend to help me the parts. The last thing is email, how do you use it? You can use it when you have the email database. You will get it when you build your website, or on the boot sale plan for a website, I will intro you some of my tips for getting customer email on a digital marketing plan.
The part 2 “Social”
Facebook is the best place for fashion, car, FMCG product, pet foods,… Linked in is the best place for selling luxury product or find the business customer. Depend on the market places, you will choose the best social for your service or product
Part 3
Other online Marketing tools “Google Ads, mobile app, Viber, Skype..”. In this group google ads is a flexible tool for branding, interest, impression, and call to action to customer if you have a website. Mobile app usually uses for software, game… But if you have a budget, you can build the marketing plan for your product with mobile app. I have an experience with this plan on 2017.
Viber, and Skype use on a customer database. I always get data first, after that use these tools for a digital plan.
Part 4
In digital plan, somebody will think they will not use digital ads (SMS, Banner, TV or radio). You cannot throw away TV, radio, or your phone (SMS). If you know your customer where they are, these tools will be the best conversion for sale (radio, TV and banner).
SMS is the best tools for customer service. Will do you happy? If you receive the wish and promotion code on your birthday?
